Which Language?

Hi there. I'm interested in learning how to make web sites (not using just templates). The type of web site I would eventually like to create is a social network like myspace/facebook etc. How do you know which programming language to learn and use? Are there advantages and disadvantages for each? Do I need to learn (or should I learn) html first? I'm not asking so much how to program or where to find tutorials, but more like what you need to learn and which languages you choose and why. Is there a particular order I should learn things in (such as html %26gt; sql %26gt; c++ just for example)? Thanks for any help.

Alright, I can code in html, php, javascript, I also know a little vb6, c++ and perl.





I think I'm a great graphic designer and very good in Photoshop, I've made quite a few templates etc.





I know quite alot about hacking e.g. SQL Injections, XSS Injections, php exploits, null bytes, poison bytes, pipping, rooting, network scanning, js injections, cookie stealing.





Program cracking, trainer making, game hacking.





BTW I'm not a geek, but what would you label me as?

What would you call me?
Why do you wish to be labeled? Are you trying to impress your friends or stroke your ego? I would never call somebody a hacker if they didn't live and breathe either Assembly, C, C++, LISP, or a few other languages. Your maturity is being called into question since you're asking this on a public forum. Any "hacker" that would admit to using VB6 (whether they do or not) is not a hacker. Also, none of your answers on Yahoo! thus far indicate you could even be called an expert. Since you depend on tools made by other programmers, that would make you a script kiddie. Of course, being a script kiddie doesn't mean you're not dangerous... that I could not tell unless I saw your work. I wonder, should I now be afraid that you are going to deface my website with your 1337 skeelz?

im not sure about a natural color for that eye color. it has to be opposite to make them pop. if you want a natural look mix a pinkish color with a light brown(or gold, then it might not matter about the glitter). if it is the dry kind use a litle glitter

Reply:I have hazel eyes and mulch eyeshadow with sable and all that glitters (which is a gold shade I know but the combo works) goes really well together. I put the mulch in my crease and the sable on my lid (or the other way around) withthe all that glitters and maybe shroom up top.

Creating a resume database?

I have been asked to create an access databank to keep and track company C.V.s. Any idea where I can get a free sample ms access or some idea on how to create it. I have already checked MS templates but found nothing there. Tnx.

Create a table with the following columns:


1) unique ID for a person whose cv you have


2) absolute path to the file that contains the cv (assuming you have it on the same HDD).


3) maybe also the nae of the person





In the application you return all fields of the table. .Net has a process facility which allows you to open other programs from your own program. For example a word document (since the CVs might be in .doc format).

What is a really good Eyebrow Pencil and Powder?

I'm aiming for staying power and a natural look. My natural eyebrow color is black and I have a skin color inbetween an olive and brown.

Also what color should I be looking to buy?





I herd m-a-c has a really good eyebrow pencil but as far as brow powder goes, I am completely clueless.

What is a really good Eyebrow Pencil and Powder?
I looked forever for a natural, long-lasting eye pencil/powder. The best I've found is from Benefit Cosmetics. It's called Brow Zing. Although it's kind of expensive ($28), I've been using the same kit daily for years.





One side is a powder and the other is a wax. It comes with 2 different mini-brushes (awesome) and a tweezer (not so great).





Even though my hair is dark brown, I purchased the "light" version because I didn't want to look like Joan Crawford. :-) Light still comes out really dark brown. Perfect every time.

Reply:I like MAC "Concrete" shadow. It is dark gray with a slight olive tone to it. It stays on, and it blends in well with black or dark brown hair. Its pigmentation is good enough that you wouldn't need an additional pencil, just a good angle brush. You can even dampen the brush to get a more defined line.
