Did you know that all animals were vegetarian, until Adam committed the first sin?

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/C/C...

Read the last part of this. Where is the proof of this, besides the bible? So sharks only ate salad? The T-rex needed the fangs to nibble on algae? Where, exactly, is the science in this? Just think, if you are lucky, you child just might learn these 'truths', in a classroom.

Did you know that all animals were vegetarian, until Adam committed the first sin?
How the hell does an animal understand sin? ROFL sharks eating salad? My IQ feels like it lowerd after reading this.
Reply:I'm going to evolve wings before pigs do because that is how evolution works - humans will evolve wings first!

Then I will fly to work and save gas money!
Reply:Eve committed the first sin. There were no dinosaurs at that time.
Reply:Yes, all of creation (animals and people) were vegetarian before the fall (Adam sinning). This is fact. Genesis 1:29. Also, we will one day return to this Isaih 65:25. Read the Bible and discover this for yourself. There was no death before sin either. Therefore no killing of animals or each other. Plus, Adam named all of the animals. He didn't name them hamburger and porkchop.
Reply:nobody was there .. who can say for sure, but ive seen my cat eat some strange things that werent meat like doritos ... not exactly what the teeth are designed for ...
Reply:i know that is bullcrap... what would lice and ticks eat? grape juice?
Reply:That's one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. I can imagine a shark looking for some Newman's Own dressing for it's salad. How bout some croutons?
Reply:This is not based on scripture at all. I can't imagine anyone believes that animals were vegetarians before Adam sinned, except these exhibitors at the museum in that article.
Reply:Was it then or after the flood?
Reply:Please, do you not have any sort of spritual understanding to the nature of things? Science is a valid thing in the physical realm of existence only...get a clue man!!!
Reply:yes and the first sin was eating rabbit??? i dont know if in english rabbit is used as in spanish...well just imagine a hairy animal and you may understand what rabbit i do refer.
Reply:Did you know that nothing even DIED until man sinned?

"Through one man's sin, death entered the world..." Romans
Reply:yep ... lions and tigers didn't have fangs and claws but flat grinding teeth like cows. then as soon as Adam bit into that fruit all the grass eating lions, tigers, wolves, cheetahs etc miraculously grew fangs and claws and became predatory.

ain't that a hoot and a 1/2?
Reply:I looked. Unfreakin believable....so there were dinos living on the ark..??? and this makes sense to actual human beings that live now....wow. well, I am glad there is a new brave new world for them, chock full o' fun facts and stories. oh wait, I think I heard of that place- dinotopia, right?
Reply:Um. It was man... man was once vegetarians until something Iforgot happened
Reply:Look, it is obvious that stuff is all nonsense. Just don't become one of those angry Atheists who make fun of religious people. Get educated on real life and things that have evidence to back them up like science. I am in the process of educating myself and others. It is always important to be respectful of religious people, it is not their fault they were brain washed at an early age. Speak to them and be reasonable. Explain how it is absolute nonsense to believe in religion in a way that is not argumentative. If you want to learn more about Science buy some of Richard Dawkins' books. You will love "The God Delusion" Good luck! We need more rational people like you!!!
Reply:This is really just part of the much larger creationist vs. evolutionist battle - everyone is missing the point - the bible story of creation and evolution are not trying to tell the same thing, one is speaking about theology and philosophy and the other about science.

Genesis was never supposed to be an accurate scientific account of how the world started - but it was supposed to be an accurate spiritual or theological account of how the world started!

One can "believe" that God is the creator, reap huge benefits from the Genesis story and still see good scientific work about evolution and the formation of the world and the planets and the universe as valid!

They are not mutually exclusive! One can believe that God created the world and all that exist and still acknowledge that it did not happen exactly as the Genesis account depicts it!

Genesis is not myth, but written in the genre of myth - it does not have to be taken literally in order to believe that it is true - sometimes things that are not scientific or factual are more true than facts and figures!

Okay?

God Bless all!
