Well I'm sure I'm attending Texas A%26amp;M this upcoming fall but I'm not planning to stay on campus. I've been thinking about staying at the Callaway Villas which is right near the University (it's even on the shuttle route) but it is extremely expensive just for one person apartment. Plus, none of my friends are planning to go there so I was thinking about getting an apartment at the Callaway Villas that houses 4 people (four bedrooms, four bathrooms) and finding roommates so I can make some friends. The problem is the rental rate. It says rent per month is $550, but I'm not sure if that is the total combined rent, or rent that will be charged per capita. Here's the website so ya'll can see http://www.callawayvillas.com/templates/...
What do you guys think?
Apartment rent help!?
ok i go to a%26amp;m and i am assuming that you are going to be a freshman. i personally think that the best way to go is to live on campus for at least your first year. but if you want to live in an apartment, i would look at "the traditions" on north gate, and its basically on campus. but again, i would live on campus for at least your first year. its an easy way to meet people and it is really convienant for getting to class and such.
Reply:That would be $575 total, split between you and your roomies. Wow. Thats really awesome. Im in Cali and I pay $700 for a 2 bdrm.
Reply:i think the total combined rent
