C2-Radian measure & its application?

Please help me to solve following problems:





1. Referring to the diagram,

find:


a) The perimeter of the shaded region when θ = 0.8 radians.


b) The value of θ when the perimeter of the shaded region is 14 cm.

2. In the diagram AB is the diameter of a circle, centre O and radius 2 cm. The point C is on the circumference such that angle COB = 2/3 π radians.

The shaded region enclosed by the chord AC, arc CB %26amp; AB is the template for a brooch.


Find the exact value of the perimeter of the brooch.

2. In the diagram AB is the diameter of a circle, centre O and radius 2 cm. The point C is on the circumference such that angle COB = 2/3 π radians.





Perimeter = chord AC + arcBC + AB





Angle AOC = 1/3 π and is an equilateral triangle


chord AC = 2





arc BC = rΘ


arc BC = 2 ( 2/3 π) = 4π/3





AB = 4





Perimeter = 2 + 4π/3 + 4


Perimeter = 6 + 4π/3
