How do I write a resume?

Please I prefer you not to post any web pages, unless they are exceptional b/c I have already looked and they have not helped. I am a college student trying to get a job as a photographer at a local studio. What should I include? What kind of template should I use? What information should I include?

How do I write a resume?
I recommend that you view the microsoft web site, templates, and downloads. They offer free resume templates in microsoft word format. Easy to use, just fill in the blanks with your information.
Reply:Have you tried downloading the free templates that Microsoft offers? They have some great examples of resumes for people that are just starting in the work force up to the executive level.
Reply:You can get a billion templates but so can everybody else. Basically your name at the top, some jobs, school, and community involvement listed in way. What do you want to gain from the resume? The job? NO! You want an interview. List what you did and the result.

I thought an objective shouldn't be on a resume. They are all the same non-sense. "To obtain a chall......." Then somebody told me to put what you want to for them. "To provide XYZ customers world class customer service while following practices resulting in profits for the company."

Go to this blog just get your thoughts together and start just by free writing you thoughts. RobertStanke.com Blog

I am not one so this is not pitch but it seems career coaches and recruiters are being used more than ever.
Reply:There's a zillion references you can get by Googling "resumes." If that doesn't ring your chimes, buy a book on the subject.
