I have several templates designed, and when i do an update to a template, all the pages default back to putting the info in each empty area of the webpage or detail page, I need help to stop this from happening each and everytime. I hate having to go back and delete the issues each time, it wastes about an hour each time I make a slight change to the Template. Thank you very much for any and all help.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, problem with Templates?
go to the dreamwaver template folder, in program file.. copy all the template files before update or download any new one.
after you have update it , you can copy and past it again (replace it) at the same folder.
otherwise you can't do any thing
